What Is EFT Tapping?

 

EFT, or "tapping", is a gentle technique that combines words with tapping on acupressure points. It can help ease emotional distress, calm the nervous system, and shift stuck patterns—whether from recent stress or past experiences.

 

What Happens in a Session?

 

Each session is guided and tailored to you. A typical session may include:

A short check-in and grounding

Choosing a focus—like a feeling, thought, or memory

Gentle tapping while using simple phrases (guided by me)

Pausing to notice what shifts

Ending with calming or grounding techniques

You’ll tap on your own face and upper body while I support you step by step. No experience is needed.

 

Do I Need to Know What to Say?

 

No. You don’t need to come with the right words or know exactly what you’re feeling. We go slowly, and I’ll help you tune in at a pace that feels manageable.

 

After a Session

 

You may leave feeling lighter, calmer, or more connected. Sometimes feelings continue to shift afterward—this is natural, and we’ll talk about ways to support yourself between sessions.

Clients often find tapping useful for:

  • Stress, overwhelm, and anxiety
  • Feeling stuck or emotionally blocked
  • Unresolved past experiences or trauma
  • Inner criticism or shame
