Trauma Informed, integrative counselling in Ashford, TW15, and online across the UK

I offer therapy that is real, grounded, and focused on helping you feel more like yourself again.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Racing thoughts, stress, old experiences, or burnout can leave you feeling drained or disconnected. Together, we work at a pace that feels comfortable, helping you make sense of what’s happening and find steadier ground.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed.

Feeling overwhelmed or stuck?

I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative. My style is warm and supportive, but I’ll also be honest with you when something needs exploring. We’ll go at your pace, and always with your needs at the centre.

Sometimes we’ll talk things through; other times, we might work with what’s happening in your body or use creative approaches if that feels helpful. Every person’s different, and I tailor therapy to fit you, not the other way around.

“When someone really hears you without passing judgement on you, without trying to take responsibility for you, it feels damn good.”
Carl Rogers

"When I initially reached out to Jo, I had many doubts as, I'd tried therapy before and none had quite impacted me like this. Jo's approach is good-natured and from the beginning I felt safe and at ease. From my time with Jo, I feel that I've made so much personal development, truly grasped about boundaries - all with her support and encouragement. I was given the tools that I needed, in order to understand and work on the parts of myself, which I didn't accept or love. Now I can say that I do accept and love those parts, and I'm almost curious for more parts to discover.

Sincerely, thank you."
